Searching

Most of the screens have a search capability included. In the top left corner you will see a green filter icon. Pressing the filter icon reveals the search bar.

When you type in a word you are looking for in the search box, you will see that the table automatically removed the records which do not match your search criteria.
If you want to make this search persistant so that it will be executed every time you refresh the screen or come back to the screen press the save icon at the left side of the search bar.

After you saved your search the green filter icon will be replaced by a red icon. If you open the search bar by pressing this red icon, you'll see the preserved search.
To cancel a saved search, you can press the red cross.

Autodetect expired Oracle password

Oracle can be configured so that passwords will expire after some time. DbaBar detects this so you know it's almost the time to change the password.

AutoRefresh

If you want to monitor certain values over time and do not want to press the refresh button manually all the time, you can turn on auto refresh.
To turn this on click the timer icon at the right side of the bar. A menu will appear where you can choose the refresh interval.
